Wine Tasting

Certain kinds of shops have become so popular in Carmel-by-the-Sea that the City Council periodically limits the number of them to avoid over-proliferation of one kind of shop. The last time this happened, it was to limit the number of art galleries in the city. There was also an attempt to increase the number of galleries where the work of local artists is sold. Currently, wine tasting rooms are rapidly on the rise and the City has determined that these rooms need to feature only local wines.
